We are so excited to be presenting our acrobatics showcase in 2024.

Our teachers and students have been working hard and are so excited to show off all our exciting and new skills!All students involved will need to be available for rehearsals and shows. This year our showcase is being held at The Base Performing Arts.

On this site you will find the showcase breakdowns; rehearsal times, show times and everything you need to know. If you have any questions at all, please reach out to the team!

Please Note: All students will still have your normal Saturday Morning Acrobatics lessons before the rehearsal.

WHEN

Saturday 16th November

All students in Recreational and Performance Team Acrobatics will perform in BOTH Shows

LOCATION

Our Acrobatics Showcase will be held at The Base Performing Arts

UNIFORM

All students are required to wear their full Base Performing Arts uniform to perform, with the Unitard as the preferred option.

HAIR

All hair is required to be styled in 2 slick braids - please ensure they're neat with no flyaways. If you’re unsure what two braids look like click here

There is no need for makeup as there are no stage lights. Please also make uniforms are clean and looking presentable.

Boys are required to wear the Base PA t shirt with plain black shorts and hair styled neatly.

REHEARSAL

Date: Saturday 16th November, 2024

Event Venue: The Base Performing Arts 

Arrival Time: 2:15pm

Rehearsal Start Time: 2:30pm

Students must arrive fully ready for this rehearsal, as there won’t be time to get prepared between the show and rehearsal. Please pack snacks and plenty of water to keep them energised! The rehearsal is a chance for the students to do a full run through of the showcase for the first time all together. We will do a run through, fix anything that needs adjusting and ensure all students are feeling confident for the show.

Next comes the show! Students will stay at the studio in between rehearsal and show. This is when they will have a little snack then get ready to commence the show.

SHOW 1

Date: Saturday 16th November, 2024

Event Venue: The Base Performing Arts

Show Time: 3:45pm - 4:15pm

Audience members will be allowed into the studio from approximately 3:30pm with the show beginning at 3:45pm. The finish time is an estimate, after the show students will make their way into their designated area and have a rest and a snack break before commencing show 2.  

SHOW 2

Date: Saturday 16th November, 2024

Event Venue: The Base Performing Arts

Show Time: 5:15pm - 5:45pm

Audience members will be allowed into the studio from approximately 5pm with the show beginning at 5:15pm. The finish time is an estimate, students will need to be signed before they leave the studio

Tickets go on sale 4th November and can be purchased by clicking the button at the bottom of this page. Please make sure you purchase tickets for the correct show!

TICKETING INFORMATION

$10 per ticket

* Children who are not yet at school do not require a ticket if they will not be occupying a seat and will sit on a parents lap.

Please note, due to limited seating, tickets are currently limited to two per person. However, starting November 11th, if additional seats are available, you'll have the option to purchase additional tickets.
